American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society, NH division, has a Wig bank program. Donated wigs are cleaned, reconditioned, styled and given to persons who have or expect to lose hair as a result of cancer treatments. Call the American Cancer Society for more information. The American Cancer Society, Maine division, has several loan closets that receive donated wigs. These wigs are also refurbished and given to persons with cancer. They also provide breast prostheses services for the underinsured.
